Le Theatre du Luxembourg!!!!
Culture Activity one:
Most of our class went to this puppet theater, located in the garden du Luxembourg, and saw "Les Aventures du Chat Minouchet." It was a forty minute show with an intermission. It was very entertaining actually. I could only understand enough to get the gist of what was going on. During intermission I turned to the others and clarified juts to be sure I didn't miss anything. The show was funny and interactive. The puppets would talk to the children and ask them questions. The children were really responsive and seemed to know the characters well. This theater has been around since the early 1930's and uses stories set in Paris that have many of the same characters, as well as other stories such as Pinocchio. It was fun to see. I'm glad we went. It was my first real puppet show that I can remember going to.
